DCF LAUNCHES THE BRITE INITIATIVE

This weekend the Digital Citizen Fund launched the BRITE exhibition in partnership with the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Qatar Development Fund at the Doha Forum. The exhibition features the works of the Afghan Girls Robotics team who have become known as the Afghan Dreamers.
The exhibition is a call to the international community to support inclusive educational opportunities in Afghanistan, so the talents of everyone are realized.
The timing of this exhibition could not be more urgent. We are seeing girls being turned away from schools in Afghanistan en masse. Not long ago this seemed unimaginable.
The dreamers remind us we must imagine a better future for Afghanistan. We do not have the luxury to denigrate the talents of half the country. We have proven Afghan girls can do great things, and we will stand by them. Will you?
